1.4 User Photos and Face Data

When you use our AI editing features, you may upload photos that can include faces. We want to clarify how these images are handled:

• No Biometric Data: We do not collect or generate biometric identifiers such as facial recognition templates. The app does not use uploaded images for identification or authentication purposes.
• Processing: Uploaded photos are transmitted securely in base64 format to our AI processing service (fal.ai) via Firebase Functions only for the purpose of applying the requested edits.
• No Storage of Originals: Original uploaded photos are never stored on our servers, databases, or third-party services. They are processed in real-time and immediately discarded after editing is complete.
• Generated Images: Only the AI-generated (edited) images are stored in Firebase Firestore linked to your device ID so that you can access, re-download, or manage your content. These generated images do not contain biometric identifiers.
• No Third-Party Sharing: Uploaded photos and generated images are never shared with third parties outside of the processing services mentioned above.

1.5 Device Identification

Since our app does not require user registration, we use device-based identification:

• Device ID: We generate a unique identifier for your device to associate your generated images and credit balance with your app installation
• No Personal Authentication: No email, username, or personal account information is required or collected
• Credit System: Your credit balance and usage history are linked to your device ID
• Data Portability: If you reinstall the app or change devices, your previous data cannot be recovered as it's tied to the specific device installation

Generated Images: AI-generated images are stored in Firebase Firestore until you manually delete them through the app. You have full control over this data.

Usage History: Credit purchase history and usage statistics linked to your device ID are retained for service functionality but can be deleted through app settings.

Credit Balance and Device Limitation: Your credit balance is stored exclusively on your device and cannot be restored if you uninstall the app or change devices. This is by design as credits are consumable in-app purchases that follow Apple's guidelines for non-restorable products.

Original Photos: Original photos uploaded by users are never retained after processing - they are immediately discarded after AI processing is complete.

Generated images are stored securely in Firebase Firestore linked to your device ID and retained until you manually delete them through the app. You have full control over when to delete your generated images.

Currently, our app does not track users across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes. Firebase Analytics is integrated but not actively used. If we enable analytics in the future, we will:
